(SCROLL DOWN) Gabriel Aronson is a Los Angeles born composer and singing pianist. His style as a composer spans orchestral cinematic pieces to rock n' roll and more experimental styles & sound effects. Gabe began classical piano lessons at the age of 5 and has a lot of influence from the great classical composers, but discovered rock music as a teenager and pulls influence from Soundgarden, The Beatles, Queen, Ben Folds, Johnny Cash, Royale Blood, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bon Iver and Billy Joel. While he features his voice and piano in a lot of his original songs, he loves riff-rock where guitar takes prominence, as a lot of the bands he grew up loving feature. He pulls a lot of inspiration from heavy-hitter film composers like Alexandre Desplat, Michael Giacchino, and Hanz Zimmer, and game composers like Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts) and Michael Salvatori (Halo & Destiny) but loves experimenting in textures and tone of the likes of Cristóbal Tapia de Veer (White Lotus) and Lorien Testard (Clair Obscur). Gabe grew up in a family of musicians and industry professionals in which he learned music production and found opportunities in scoring for film ("Timber the Treasure Dog"), TV ("Flea Market Flip"), and games ("Monkey Pile"). By 2016, Gabe had been in rock bands for 10 years playing at random bars and clubs in LA, but then booked the role of Jerry Lee Lewis in the Las Vegas production of "Million Dollar Quartet" at Harrah's Casino. Portraying "the killer" for 6 and a half years brought him a lot of experience as a performer, but also a lot of joy and fundamentals in working with rock bands at a professional level. Gabe has released singles, EP's and full-length albums since 2012 of his own music and other artists which are now on Spotify and have garnered over 10 thousand streams and has been placed on several different big Spotify playlists. During the pandemic, he composed for the horror movie "What Josiah Saw", which won the Heartland Horror Award and the Audience Choice Award. Since 2021, Gabe has engaged in his love for travel by performing onboard Holland America Cruise Line in Billboard Magazine's collaborative show called Billboard Onboard as a singing pianist with his partner Meagan Eishen. Gabe's unique musicianship stems from his ability to play all traditional rock instruments (guitar, drums, bass guitar, piano), where he can pull ideas for songs from different foundations in the instruments he chooses. But his appreciation and love for music that spans from classical to musical theater to rock and heavy metal pushes him to try combinations of these different flavors. His 27 years of piano playing under his belt, he can also play a mean piano! Gabe continues to perform aboard cruise ships, but also performs on land when he's back home in LA and across the US. He is currently releasing an instrumental album and has many songs he's excited to release in the singer/songwriter vein. Hi, I'm Gabe! I'm a performer and composer who is proud to travel the world and create art for my living. Born and raised in Los Angeles, I began playing the piano at the age of five and fell in love with both music and songwriting shortly after. Growing up around the entertainment industry, I'd been inspired to pursue it as a career and jumped at every opportunity to create my own music, landing my first opportunity to compose at 16. You could always find me experimenting with music tech and production or in rehearsal with my neighborhood rock bands prepping for the next gig, and I've been creating and releasing my own music for a little over a decade now. I've spent my professional career traveling and creating... from stepping onstage for nearly 6 years as Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet at Harrah's Casino in Las Vegas and theaters around the US, to workshopping music for shows at theme parks, to directing bands and musicians, to playing piano and singing in Billboard Onboard, a duo-piano venue on Holland America Line, I've been able to pursue my varied passions in entertainment and grow my experience.
